Winnie the Pooh

Winnie-the-Pooh is the most famous teddy bear in the world.  In 1921, he was created by Alan Alexander Milne who was a writer of children's literature in England. Ernest Howard Shepard drew illustrations for the Winnie-the-Pooh.  In 1926, A.　A .Milne originally published Winnie-the-Pooh.  However, The Disney Company has been producing the animated cartoon since 1966.  Many characters appear in this animated cartoon.  Winnie the Pooh is the main character whose hobby he is making poems and songs and his favorite food is honey.  His weak point is he is forgetful so his best friend, Christopher Robin, often helps him.  I think Winnie the Pooh is a very cute character and I like his cartoons because it is very interesting.  I want to see the original book published in England.

World heritage sites in Spain

I’m going to explain about world heritage sites in Spain.  Currently, Spain has 43 world heritage sites by UNESCO.  In 1984, the church Expiatori de la Sagrada Família was listed by UNESCO, so it is well known in the world.  It is a Roman Catholic Church in Barcelona, Catalonia.  It was designed by Antoni Gaudi who started on March 19th in 1882, but it is not yet finished.  It will be completed in around 2027.

I think Sagrada Família is very wonderful church because it is a big and historical church that is very different from other cathedrals because it is an　usual architecture style that only Gaudi could create.  Someday, I want to visit there.

I talked with Shotaro about Keisuke Honda.  Keisuke Honda is football player who is from Osaka Prefecture.  He started football when he was in the second grade of elementary school.  Now, he belongs to CSKA Moscow in Russia.  I want to know about football more.

About Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse

               Mickey Mouse is a very famous American cartoon character in the world.  In 1928, Walt Disney and Ubbe Ert Iwwerks created Mickey Mouse at the Walt Disney Studio.  Moreover they produced many animation characters and films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Dumbo and so on.  Mickey has received 9 nominations for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.  For example, there are Building a Building, Brave Little Tailor, Mickey’s Christmas Carol and so on. 

Mickey’s first short film is Steamboat Willie.  Mickey’s girl friend, Minnie Mouse appeared in this film too.  It is a black and white film.  Mickey’s voice in this movie was Walt.

Now, there are many Disney parks around the world such as Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Tokyo Disney Resort and so on.   You can meet Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters in the Disneyland parks.  Someday, I want to watch all his movies and meet Disney characters in Disney land because I like Disneyland and Disney movies so much.
